Description

In 1996 José Leandro transformed a part of the lands into a property dedicated to the production of high quality coffee, investing in bio-sustainability and equipment, trying to encourage a more conscious agricultural production.
In 2002 he won the 1st coffee quality award in the Espírito Santo mountains. The recognition of this prize has created even greater interest in production of high quality

Only ripe fruits are harvested (up to 6 harvests a year, between July and October), and the beans are carefully selected and processed.

Michele’ suggestion: this is a Brazilian specialty coffee from Espirito Santo mountains. A coffee discovered casually three years ago thanks to the visit in Candelù of one of the members of Copeavi cooperative. A such great feeling was born immediately with him.
I discovered the reality of this large cooperative made up of many small producers (roughly 12.000) and with whom we talked about sustainability themes and started a small collaboration, having been the first contact in Europe.
